Spain and Barcelona nice Xavi Hernandez exams constructive for COVID-19

Former Spain and Barcelona midfielder Xavi Hernandez has examined constructive for the coronavirus.

The 40-year-old Xavi, now the coach of Qatari membership Al-Sadd, stated Saturday that he was examined in line with the Qatar league protocol and that the most recent check confirmed he had contracted COVID-19.

“Fortunately, I’m feeling OK, but I will be isolated until I am given the all-clear,” Xavi stated on Instagram.

“When the health services allow it, I will be very eager to return to my daily routine and to work,” he added.

Al-Sadd introduced on its web site that Xavi wouldn’t be becoming a member of the remainder of the workforce for its league recreation towards Al-Khor later Saturday.

It is third-place Al-Sadd’s first recreation for the reason that league was suspended in March because of the pandemic. The league resumed on Friday.

Qatar has recorded 109,036 constructive circumstances and attributed 164 deaths to the virus, in line with Johns Hopkins University. AP
