Abu Dhabi, October 1
A quick-fire 70 by skipper Rohit Sharma and a late blitzkrieg by Kieron Pollard and Hardik Pandya helped Mumbai Indians score 191 for 4 against Kings XI Punjab in their Indian Premier League (IPL) match here on Thursday.
After a slow start, Mumbai Indians scored 67 runs in last four overs to put a challenging total on the board. Pollard scored an unbeaten 47 off 20 balls, while Pandya smashed an 11-ball 30.
For KXIP, Sheldon Cottrell (1/20), Krishnappa Gowtham (1/45) and Mohammed Shami (1/36) claimed one wicket each.
Earlier, KL Rahul won the toss and invited Mumbai Indians to bat. Kings XI made one change to their side, bringing in Krishnappa Gowtham in place of Murugan Ashwin, while MI remained unchanged.
