Mohammedan Sporting today clinched an I-League berth after seven years with a 2-0 win over Bhawanipore FC in the qualifiers. They last played in the I-League in 2013-14, only to be relegated the same season.

Chawrasia impressive with 69 on return, lies 21st

Indian golfer SSP Chawrasia returned to action in style as he carded a 3-under 69 in the first round of the Scottish Championship here. The 42-year-old Chawrasia, who had successfully fought against Covid-19 in August, was tied-21st. Shubhankar Sharma (71) was tied-46th and Gaganjeet Bhullar (75) was tied-83rd. Spaniard Adrian Otaegui shot a 10-under 62 to lead by three shots.
