Harikrishna stays in fifth place; Wesley So goes on high

Indian Grandmaster P Harikrishna maintained his joint fifth place within the Saint Louis Rapid and Blitz on-line chess match at the same time as American Wesley So climbed to the highest spot forward of world champion Magnus Carlsen.

Competing within the final three rounds of the Rapid occasion, Harikrishna began effectively with a win over American participant Jeffery Xiong in 66 strikes. After a draw towards one other US participant Hikaru Nakamura, the Indian was outlasted by So in 69 strikes on Thursday.
