Flood-hit Assam wants our consideration and help, urges Sunil Chhetri

Indian soccer crew captain Sunil Chhetri on Friday stated the flood-hit north-eastern state of Assam wants fast consideration and help because it battles lack of lives and displacement of individuals in lots of its submerged districts.

The floods have up to now claimed greater than 70 lives and displaced almost 40 lakh individuals in 26 districts of the state.

Nearly 90 per cent of the Kaziranga National Park is reportedly submerged.

Seeking to attract the nation’s consideration to the catastrophe that has hit the state amid the COVID-19 pandemic, Chhetri wrote on his twitter deal with, “Along with the prayers, Assam wants as a lot consideration and assist as doable to recuperate from the floods it’s below.”

“There’s been considerable loss of life – both man and animal, and I can only sincerely hope that the numbers don’t rise.”
