Churchill regain I-League high spot with win over NEROCA


Churchill Brothers regained the top spot in the I-League after they beat NEROCA FC 1-0. Clayvin Zuniga’s 16th-minute strike was enough to give Fernando Varela’s side all three points. TRAU defeated Indian Arrows 5-1 to climb to the fifth spot.


Coco advances to Adelaide International quarterfinals

Coco Gauff’s five-week stay in Australia has been extended with a second-round win at the Adelaide International. The 16-year-old American beat sixth-seeded Petra Martic 5-7 6-3 6-4 to advance to the quarterfinals. Top-ranked Ash Barty was beaten 6-3 6-4 in the second round by Danielle Collins.
