With UP-Delhi border sealed in Ghaziabad, many commuters turned again


Ghaziabad (UP), July 11

Ghaziabad noticed site visitors congestion on Saturday after the borders of Uttar Pradesh alongside Delhi have been sealed because of the 55-hour lockdown imposed by the state authorities, police mentioned.

Only the autos plying for important providers have been permitted to go back and forth Delhi whereas car homeowners who couldn’t present correct paperwork have been turned again, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Indirapuram circle, Anshu Jain informed PTI.

Most of the border areas have been sealed on Friday evening and can stay off limits until Monday morning through the lockdown. The Maharajpur-Anand Vihar border was totally barricaded and the motion of autos was restricted.

The individuals who weren’t carrying masks, driving with out seat belts and helmets have been fined, DSP Jain added. — PTI
