A 29-year-old Sikh man died after he jumped right into a river to rescue three kids who have been swept away within the US state of California, in response to media stories.
The man, recognized as Manjeet Singh, was visiting Reedley Beach on Wednesday night close to his house in Fresno County when he noticed the three kids struggling within the Kings River, the Los Angeles Times reported on Friday.
Two eight-year-old ladies and a 10-year-old boy have been taking part in within the river after they have been pulled below a bridge by the present, CNN quoted Reedley Police Department commander Mark Ediger as saying.
Singh, who was on the river along with his brother-in-law and different associates, eliminated his turban and tried to make use of it as a rope to tug the youngsters in however was rapidly pulled below himself.
“He went in to try and help them and, unfortunately, went underwater fairly quickly and never came back up,” stated Reedley Police Commander Marc Ediger.
