Telangana proclaims Rs 50L reduction for martyr’s kin


Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Tuesday announced Rs 50 lakh financial assistance for the family of Army jawan Ryada Mahesh, who was killed in an exchange of fire with militants in Kashmir on Sunday. The Chief Minister said Mahesh would be remembered in history as the one who sacrificed his life for the country. He said the state government would support the family. TNS

Hyderabad student falls to death from Toronto building

Hyderabad: A Hyderabad student lost his life after falling from a high-rise building in Toronto, Canada.A resident of Vanasthalipuram in Hyderabad, Panyam Akhil (19) died after he fell from the balcony of the 27th floor while talking on phone. His friends in Canada informed the family about the mishap, which took place on November 8. Akhil was doing a hotel management course in Canada. After completing the course’s first year, he came home in March and returned to Canada after the lockdown eased. tns
