Sushant case: NCB arrests ‘drug dealer’

The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has arrested an alleged drug seller and detained one other in reference to the medicine trafficking case linked to the case of actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s demise, officers mentioned on Wednesday.

“Zaid disclosed that he runs an eatery in Bandra which was not giving any pecuniary gains since lockdown. He also disclosed that he is into drug peddling, especially bud, through which he used to earn a substantial amount of money,” the NCB mentioned. According to NCB, the very best quality of bud is offered for Rs 5,000 per gram.

Zaid got here below the scanner after the company arrested two individuals — Abbas Lakhani and Karan Arora — in one other narcotics case on August 27-28 in Mumbai and recovered a bud consignment from them.
