Stuck in Pakistan, 83 Indians return by way of Attari-Wagah border

As many as 83 Indian nationals, who had obtained stranded in Pakistan within the wake of the Covid-19 outbreak, have been at the moment repatriated by way of Attari-Wagah border. The returnees belonged to Punjab, Jammu and Kashmir, Uttar Pradesh, New Delhi, Gujarat, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Haryana, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka.

Protocol Officer Arun Pal Singh mentioned a complete of 118 Indian nationals have been presupposed to return. “As of now, we have details of only 83 Indians who crossed over,” he mentioned.

He mentioned because the lockdown has been relaxed, round 495 Pakistanis have been repatriated.

As they reached on the joint examine publish at Attari, medical groups examined them. After finishing customs and immigration formalities, they have been ferried in particular buses.
