Actor Sonu Sood on Monday mentioned he would offer monetary help to over 400 households of deceased and injured migrant employees, hit by the coronavirus-induced nationwide lockdown.
The “Dabangg” actor bought in contact with the authorities of assorted states, together with, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand and took related info—addresses and financial institution particulars—of the migrants who misplaced their lives.
“I’ve decided to help families of the deceased or injured migrants for them to have a secure future. I feel it’s my personal responsibility to support them,” Sood mentioned in a press release.
The 46-year-old has been arranging transport for hundreds of migrants determined to return to their dwelling states.
Last month, the actor organized for chartered flights to assist fly over 300 migrant employees. —PTI
