Lucknow, July 12
Uttar Pradesh extra chief secretary Sanjay Bhoosreddy, who’s heading the particular investigation crew probing the native police’s alleged connivance with slain gangster Vikas Dubey, will on Sunday go to Bikru village close to Kanpur the place eight policemen had been killed by the henchmen of the gangster.
“We will visit the location where firing took place (Bikru village),” Bhoosreddy advised PTI on his solution to Kanpur.
He refused to elaborate additional.
The state authorities had constituted the SIT on Saturday. Bhoosreddy is heading the crew, which could have Additional DG Hari Ram Sharma and DIG Ravinder Goud as its members, in line with an official assertion.
The SIT will submit its report by July 31 after wanting into all of the angles, finding out all associated paperwork and spot inspection in Kanpur, it stated.
The crew has been requested to probe into what efficient motion was taken in all of the instances lodged towards Dubey, the assertion stated.
The SIT may also probe what motion was taken to cancel the bail of “such a dreaded criminal”, what motion has been taken towards him below the Goonda Act, the National Security Act, Gangsters Act, and if there was any laxity and at what stage, it added.
On July 3, eight police personnel, together with a DSP, had been gunned down in Bikru village by the henchmen of Dubey.
Seven others, together with a civilian, had been injured within the assault from a rooftop after the police crew entered the village previous Thursday (July 2) midnight to arrest Dubey. —PTI
