No feasts, no grand perform, Noorjahan Khatun, a college trainer, celebrated her wedding ceremony eve in Bengal’s Nadia district by organising a blood donation camp and distributing books amongst native college students.
The 28-year-old, a philosophy trainer at a better secondary faculty in East Medinipur, has additional requested her father to acquire saplings, which she could be handing out to the company after her wedding ceremony on Tuesday.

“When my daughter wanted me to arrange a blood donation camp to mark her wedding, I was more than willing to do the needful. I have also bought saplings for distribution after the wedding,” Sheikh stated.
Arabinda Biswas, the BDO of Krishnanagar Block-2, lauded Khatun for her noble gesture.
