SC points discover to Centre on PIL in search of structure of 22nd Legislation Fee

New Delhi, January 25

The Supreme Court on Monday issued a notice to the Centre on a PIL seeking constitution of the 22nd Law Commission.

Petitioner advocate Ashwini Upadhyaya, a Delhi BJP leader, has also sought a direction to make the Law Commission a statutory body.

The Law Commission has not been constituted since August 31, 2018, when Justice BS Chauhan’s term as its chairman ended.
