SC dismisses pleas looking for reconstitution of inquiry fee to probe Vikas Dubey’s encounter

The Supreme Court on Tuesday dismissed pleas looking for reconstitution of an inquiry fee to probe Vikas Dubey’s encounter.

Two candidates wished former UP DGP KL Gupta, who was a part of the panel, to get replaced.  But a Bench headed by CJI SA Bobde was not satisfied by the counters put ahead on why Gupta shouldn’t be on the panel headed by former SC choose BS Chauhan.

There had been two purposes. The different applicant demanded former Allahabad HC Judge Shashikant Agrawal get replaced.
