SC agrees to look at UP’s anti-conversion regulation; refuses to remain controversial provisions


New Delhi, January 6

The Supreme Court on Wednesday agreed to examine the controversial state laws of Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand on religious conversions due to interfaith marriage.

The top court, however, refused to stay the controversial provisions of laws.—PTI
