As much as 1,97,136 MT has been procured from  three states , Punjab, Haryana and Uttar Pradesk till October 1 in KMS 2020-21, the government said on Friday.

The government said 15,705benefited from this, adding that the total MSP outflow was Rs 372.194 crore.

The pace of paddy procurement shall pick up in a week’s time.

Cotton season 2020-21 also started from October 1.

Cotton Corporation of India has geared up its infrastructure for MSP procurement and MSP purchase has started in Haryana, it said .
