RJD expels three MLAs for anti-party actions

Patna, August 16

RJD, the principal opposition celebration in Bihar, on Sunday expelled three of its legislators from the celebration for six years for his or her anti-party actions.

RJD state secretary basic Alok Mehta introduced the expulsion of Prema Choudhary, Maheshwar Yadav and Faraz Fatmi.

All the three MLAs have at varied occasions come out in help of JD(U) and had praised Chief Minister Nitish Kumar.

RJD has 80 MLAs within the 243 member meeting and the expulsions come months earlier than the October-November meeting polls.

“All the three legislators had indulged in anti-party activities and that is why they have been expelled from RJD for six years,” Mehta instructed newsmen.

“They have been working in opposition to RJD’s ideas and programmes … The determination has been taken on the directive of celebration supremo Lalu Prasad, he mentioned.

Speculation is rife that the three legislators could be a part of JD(U).

Meanwhile a piece of the native media has reported that Bihar Industries Minister and JD(U) nationwide basic secretary Shyam Rajak is prone to stop the celebration and return to RJD tomorrow.

Repeated calls to contact Rajak to verify the report went unanswered.

Rajak, had served as minister throughout the RJD rule within the state and had stop it in 2009 to affix JD(U). PTI
