Under the influence of a fresh western disturbance, isolated to scattered light precipitation is likely over northwest India and adjoining central India while fairly widespread to widespread precipitation with isolated heavy rain is expected over Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh on November 14 and 15, the Met department has said.
As mainly easterlies prevail over the entire country, under its influence gradual rise in minimum temperature by 2-3°C could be witnessed over northwest India and by 2-4°C over east, central and south Peninsular India during the next three days, it added.
Meanwhile, under the influence of a trough in easterly at lower levels located over west-central Bay of Bengal and running from north Andhra Pradesh coast to Sri Lankan coast and its further westward movement, scattered to fairly widespread rainfall accompanied with thunderstorm and lightning with isolated heavy falls are likely over Tamil Nadu, Puducherry and Karaikal and coastal Andhra Pradesh on November 11 and 12.
