Retired navy man shot lifeless in west Delhi


New Delhi, September 21

A 55-year-old retired navy personnel was shot lifeless allegedly by a person throughout a scuffle in west Delhi’s Dwarka space, police stated on Monday.

The incident happened within the Sector 23 space of Dwarka Sunday evening, they stated.

The sufferer has been recognized Balraj Deshwal, retired navy personnel, police stated.

The accused, Pradeep Khokar, parked his automotive exterior a constructing and went to its parking space in ground-floor the place Deshwal was sitting together with his buddy, a senior police officer stated.

“Khokar began an altercation with Deshwal, which led to a scuffle and later he fired at the victim,” Deputy Commissioner of Police (Dwarka) Santosh Kumar Meena stated.

A bullet hit Deshwal’s mouth and he was declared introduced lifeless at a hospital, police stated.

Police stated the accused owed round Rs 5 lakh to Deshwal who was concerned in actual property enterprise.

“Khokar is absconding and police are on the job to nab him,” the DCP stated. PTI
