Reliance takes on Zoom, launches app

After elevating billions of {dollars} from the likes of Facebook and Intel for its digital enterprise, billionaire Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance Industries has launched JioMeet video-conferencing app with limitless free calling that’s being seen as charge warfare on rival Zoom.

The app is accessible on Android, iOS, Windows, macOS and internet. According to the corporate web site, JioMeet helps HD audio and video name high quality with as much as 100 individuals and presents options like display screen sharing, assembly schedule function and extra.

But not like Zoom, it doesn’t impose a 40-minute time restrict. Calls can go on so long as 24 hours, the corporate stated. — PTI
