Newly appointed West Bengal Congress president Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury mentioned on Thursday that his occasion was able to forge a ballot alliance with the CPI (M)-led Left Front within the state to place up a “spirited” battle towards the TMC and the BJP within the 2021 Assembly elections.
Chowdhury, who can also be the chief of the Congress within the Lok Sabha, mentioned the battle was primarily between secularism and communalism. “Secular ideals of the Congress will ultimately defeat the communal rhetoric of the BJP and the TMC. The Congress, in alliance with the Left parties, wants to put up a spirited battle against the misrule of the TMC,” he mentioned at a press meet. — PTI
