Rajasthan Congress calls off its Monday protest in entrance of Raj Bhawan

The Rajasthan Congress referred to as off its Monday protest in entrance of the Raj Bhawan, hours after the occasion gave a nationwide name for agitation to guard the Constitution and democracy.

State Congress chief Govind Singh Dotasara stated in a tweet, “Tomorrow, Congress workers will protest in front of Raj Bhawans as part of ‘Save Democracy-Save Constitution’ agitation call. But, in Rajasthan we will not do anything like that.”

Earlier within the day, Congress chief Ajay Maken stated in a present of solidarity with the Rajasthan authorities, led by Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, and for the safety of the Constitution and democracy, Congress staff will stage protests in a “Gandhian way” in entrance of Raj Bhawans throughout the nation on Monday.

The Congress authorities in Rajasthan is dealing with a political disaster after a rise up by the now sacked deputy chief minister Sachin Pilot and 18 different MLAs.

Dotasara stated, “We have sent a revised note of the state cabinet to the Governor and hope that he will soon give approval to call a session of the Assembly.”

The Congress authorities says it desires to carry the session so its majority will be proved.

On Friday, Governor Kalraj Mishra had sought clarifications on six factors from the state authorities, after Congress MLAs held a five-hour dharna on the lawns of the Raj Bhawan urgent for an Assembly session.

The dharna was referred to as off, in accordance with the Congress, after Mishra stated he would abide by the Constitution and never act beneath any stress.

The Governor requested Gehlot to submit once more, with the clarifications, his advice for calling a session. — PTI
