Peace talks with Naga teams resume at present


New Delhi, August 10

Notwithstanding the complaints made to the Prime Minister by a number of civil society teams, Nagaland Governor and Centre’s interlocutor RN Ravi is ready to reach right here tomorrow to take ahead negotiations with the NSCN (IM) and NNPGs (Naga National Political Groups) management. The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) has set a September deadline to conclude the method.

Sources mentioned complaints by fringe Naga teams have been made solely to derail the peace course of, as insurgency in Nagaland serves their financial functions, of which Ravi has taken a “stern view” and measures had been taken to curb rebel teams’ apply of amassing “extra-constitutional levies” from enterprise entities within the state.
