Nursing pupil jumps off UP medical faculty constructing, injured; kin alleges psychological harassment


Shahjahanpur, August 12

A nursing pupil was grievously injured after she allegedly jumped off the primary flooring of the medical faculty right here, police stated on Wednesday, whereas her kin alleged she was going through psychological harassment for refusing obligation in COVID-19 hospital.

The incident occurred at Varun Arjun Medical College on Tuesday. The nursing pupil was injured and admitted to the medical faculty hospital, SP S Anand informed PTI.

The members of the family of the sufferer have alleged that the lady was being mentally harassed for refusing obligation in a COVID-19 hospital. An FIR was being lodged on the premise of their criticism, he stated.

The girl had earlier uploaded a video on social media during which she is purportedly heard saying she had been deployed at a COVID-19 hospital however refused to work there as she doesn’t have medical insurance and in addition demanded a hike in wage.

In the video, she can be heard alleging that she was being mentally harassed.

District Magistrate Indra Vikram Singh stated the members of the family of the sufferer are lodging a case on this connection. PTI
