The final result of the marathon 15-hour assembly of the commanders of India and China was mentioned by the China Study Group (CSG) headed by National Security Adviser Ajit Doval right here on Wednesday.
The CSG contains the Cabinet Secretary, the Secretaries of Home, External Affairs and Defence in addition to representatives of the Services. It will take a name on the ‘further course of action’ on the graded, mutual de-escalation alongside the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in Ladakh — which can be a long-drawn course of stretching into a number of weeks.
The Northern Army Commander, Lt Gen YK Joshi, is anticipated to transient the CSG on the developments alongside the LAC. Similar discussions are reported to have been held by the Chinese aspect after Tuesday’s assembly in Chushul. The assembly of Lt Gen-level commanders ended at 2 am on Wednesday, indicating a partial progress. Rajnath singh to go to Ladakh tomorrow
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will go to jap Ladakh on Friday. Sources stated he would perform a complete evaluation of the safety scenario with Army Chief Gen MM Naravane, Lt Gen YK Joshi, Commander of the 14 Corps Lt Gen Harinder Singh and different senior officers. Singh will journey to Srinagar the place he’ll evaluation the LoC scenario.
Clear message: Follow all border protocols
