NITI Aayog and ISB signal deal for joint monitoring and analysis

Development Monitoring and Evaluation Office (DMEO), NITI Aayog and Indian School of Business (ISB) have got here collectively to signal an institutional partnership to strengthen monitoring and analysis in India.

Dr Sekhar Bonu, Director General, Development Monitoring and Evaluation Office (DMEO) at NITI Aayog and Professor Rajendra Srivastava, Dean, Indian School of Business signed an announcement of intent (SOI) in a digital occasion on Thursday.

The goal of the SOI is to work collectively in areas together with—capability constructing of presidency officers, growing modules and conducting joint research. Through this partnership, ISB and DMEO may also organise workshops, boards, seminars and different such actions which can result in enhanced advocacy of monitoring & analysis within the nation.

Through these interventions, it’s anticipated to strengthen the capacities of regional establishments and native analysis ecosystems within the space of monitoring and analysis of developmental programmes. 

Bharti Institute of Public Policy at ISB will anchor this initiative inside ISB.

Dr Sekhar Bonu mentioned, “Development Monitoring and Evaluation Office (DMEO) aims to develop the monitoring and evaluation ecosystem in the country. We are very delighted to partner with Indian School of Business, aiming at collaboration on research and trainings, as a step towards realising our broader goal.”

Speaking about this collaboration, ISB Dean Srivastava mentioned, “ISB will leverage the body of research and academic network at its command, to bring evidence based research to the table, which I am sure will help in efficient policy making. This partnership between NITI and ISB is focused on working towards problems that are worth solving.”

Professor Ashwini Chhatre, Executive Director – Bharti Institute of Public Policy at ISB and Shri Alok Mishra, Director—Development Monitoring and Evaluation Office (DMEO), NITI Aayog have been additionally current in the course of the programme.
