New Delhi, September 19
The NIA performed raids at a number of areas in Ernakulam (Kerala) and Murshidabad (West Bengal) as we speak and arrested 9 suspected terrorists for his or her alleged affiliation with Al-Qaeda.
A senior NIA official stated the company bought a tip-off about an interstate module, allegedly planning to undertake terrorist assaults on important installations in India.
The official stated the arrested males have been planning to go to Kashmir for weapon supply. Those arrested embody six from West Bengal — Abu Sufiyan, Mainul Mondal, Leu Yean Ahmed, Al Mamun Kamal and Atitur Rehman — and three from Kerala — Murshid Hasan, Iyakub Biswas and Mosaraf Hossen.
