NIA chargesheet towards 5 in IS case

The NIA as we speak stated it had filed a cost sheet towards 5 individuals for his or her alleged affiliation with the banned Islamic State Khorasan Province (ISKP), an affiliate of the IS.

According to officers, those that have been cost sheeted in a particular NIA court docket embrace Jahanzaib Sami of Delhi, Hina Bashir of Kashmir, Abdullah Basith of Hyderabad and Sadiya Anwar Shaikh and Nabeel Siddick Khatri, each of Pune.

Officials stated the case was initially registered by the Delhi Police Special Cell in March 2020 after the arrest of Kashmiri couple Jahanzaib and Hina from their rented lodging in Okhla Vihar, Jamia Nagar in Delhi. Later, the NIA took over the case and had re-registered an FIR.
