National Education Policy goals to reorient training system: President


New Delhi, September 19

The new National Education Policy (NEP) goals to reorient the training system in direction of assembly the wants of the 21st century by reaching the dual goals of inclusion and excellence, President Ram Nath Kovind stated on Saturday.

Addressing the Visitors’ Conference on “Implementation of National Education Policy 2020 in Higher Education”, the President stated the coverage units the imaginative and prescient of creating an equitable and vibrant data society by offering high quality training to all. “Higher education institutions have greater responsibility of making India a global knowledge superpower. The quality standards set as benchmark by these institutions would be followed by other institutions,” the President stated.

He stated the basic ideas of the brand new coverage embody inculcating creativity and demanding pondering. — PTI
