Narendra Tomar assumes cost of ministry vacated by Harsimrat Kaur Badal

Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Narendra Singh Tomar on Wednesday assumed further cost because the Minister of Food Processing Industries in Panchsheel Bhawan. 

The Minister was welcomed by Rameswar Teli, MoS, and Pushpa Subrahmanyam,  MoFPI Secretary.  The Minister met senior officers and reviewed schemes of the ministry. 

Tomar is at present holding the cost of the Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Minister of Rural Development, and Minister of Panchayati Raj. The MoFPI was beforehand held by Akali chief Harsimrat Kaur Badal who resigned in protest in opposition to three agri-legislations

Speaking on the event, Tomar mentioned the meals processing business is within the rising phases and MoFPI is making all efforts and contributing in direction of creation of latest alternatives of employment for youth, bringing earnings to our farmers by providing remunerative costs to them, making the products accessible for its customers, and so on.

The Ministry of Food Processing Industries has a transparent purpose of accomplishing these goals by facilitating and performing as a catalyst to draw high quality investments from inside India and overseas into this sector with the purpose of creating meals processing a nationwide initiative, in accordance with an official assertion
