Mumbai Police inspector dies of COVID-19; toll 75

Mumbai, September 13

The variety of COVID-19 deaths within the Mumbai Police power reached 75 on Sunday with a 53-year-old inspector succumbing to the an infection, an official stated.

The deceased inspector was connected to Vakola police station within the metropolis. He was briefly hospitalised after a minor highway accident and was recovering at his dwelling, the official stated.

“Around 5.30 am, the inspector suddenly collapsed inside his bathroom and became unconscious. He was rushed to hospital, where he was declared dead,” the official added.

His samples returned constructive for the COVID-19 an infection, he stated. PTI
