Kozhikode crash: Mortal stays of Captain Sathe attain Mumbai


Mumbai, August 9

The mortal stays of Captain Deepak Sathe, who was pilot-in-command of the ill-fated Air India Express airplane that crashed in Kerala, have been introduced right here in a flight on Sunday afternoon.

The mortal stays have been saved on the Air India facility close to the Terminal 2 of the Chhatrapati Shivaji worldwide airport for a while.

Sathe’s spouse Sushma and their son have been current.

Pilots, crew of Air India and floor workers paid tributes to the late captain on the airport.

The flight from Dubai with 190 folks on board, together with a six-member crew, overshot the tabletop runway on Friday night time whereas touchdown on the Kozhikode airport in heavy rain, fell right into a valley 35 ft beneath and broke into two, killing 18 folks, together with each pilots.
