The 700 MW energy plant in Gujarat achieved criticality, that means it reached the traditional working situation of a reactor. It signifies that the plant is now set to generate energy.
Congratulations to our nuclear scientists for attaining criticality of Kakrapar Atomic Power Plant-3! This indigenously designed 700 MWe KAPP-Three reactor is a shining instance of Make in India. And a trailblazer for a lot of such future achievements!
