Gogoi on External Affairs panel of Parliament

New Delhi, July 23

Former Chief Justice of India Ranjan Gogoi has been nominated to serve the Parliamentary Standing Committee on External Affairs, whereas former Union Minister Sharad Pawar will likely be on the Defence panel.

A day after they have been administered oath, 45 newly elected Rajya Sabha members right now have been nominated to varied panels by Chairman M Venkaih Naidu. These members can not participate within the deliberations of the panel. — TNS
