GoAir sacks pilot over tweet towards PM

New Delhi, January 9

India’s economy airline service provider GoAir today took a decision to terminate one of its senior pilots from the services for his “misadventure” of posting tweet in which he made derogatory remarks against Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

An official spokesperson of the Airline said, “GoAir has a zero-tolerance policy, and it is mandatory for all GoAir employees to comply with the company’s employment rules, regulations and policies.” — TNS
