The overseas ministers of Russia, India and China (RIC) would maintain a luncheon assembly on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) assembly in Moscow, the Chinese Foreign Ministry stated on Wednesday.
External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar is in Moscow on a four-day go to to attend the assembly of overseas ministers of the SCO of which each India and China are members. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov is the host of the assembly of SCO overseas ministers being held within the Russian capital from Wednesday to Thursday.
Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi can even maintain bilateral conferences with related member states of the SCO and attend a luncheon for the RIC overseas ministers, Foreign Ministry spokesman Zhao Lijian instructed a media briefing right here.
Under the RIC framework, the overseas ministers of the three international locations meet periodically to debate bilateral, regional and worldwide problems with their curiosity.
