A fireplace broke out at a non-public hospital in Rajasthan’s Bhilwara on Sunday, forcing Evacuation of over 50 sufferers admitted there, based on police.
Bhilwara’s Subhas Nagar SHO Pushpa Kasotia mentioned the fireplace broke out attributable to short-circuit on the third ground of the hospital.
Fifty-two sufferers admitted there have been safely rescued, police mentioned.
“Panic gripped patients, their attendants and hospital staff. The rescue operation was immediately started and all of them were safely evacuated,” the SHO mentioned.
The sufferers had been admitted to totally different wards of the hospital. Some of them had been suspected COVID-19 sufferers.
“The patients were shifted to other hospitals. The flames were later doused,” the SHO mentioned.
DGP Bhupendra Singh appreciated immediate motion by cops within the matter.
