“So far, NDRF groups have rescued 71 victims and evacuated greater than 11,000 individuals in Bihar.
“In addition, teams also distributed 8,550 food packets and 6,250 kg food items to the needy persons during the current monsoon season,” the spokesperson mentioned.
The power evacuated 400 stranded folks from the “worst-hit” Saran and Darbhanga districts of the state on Tuesday, he mentioned.
NDRF rescuers are “strictly following” the COVID-19 tips and protocols and are utilizing PPE fits, masks, face shields, sanitisers, handwash and different protecting gear, he added.
A complete of 133 NDRF groups have been deployed throughout the nation for flood rescue and reduction works.
