The Enforcement Directorate (ED) in the present day stated it had obtained the custody of three accused, together with Swapna Suresh, within the Kerala gold smuggling case for interrogation beneath the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA).
The ED, which is probing the cash laundering side of the case, acquired their custody from a particular NIA courtroom in Thiruvananthapuram, officers within the company stated.
They stated the ED had acquired the custody of Sarith PS, Suresh and Sandeep Nair, who had been arrested by the National Investigation Agency (NIA) earlier within the case. The three will likely be questioned and their statements can be recorded beneath the PMLA, they added.
