An answer to the border row with China should be predicated on honouring all agreements and understandings with out trying to change the established order unilaterally, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar has stated in a transparent assertion of India’s place on the problem.
He referred to as the scenario in Ladakh the “most serious” after the 1962 battle, including the quantum of forces deployed by each side on the LAC was unprecedented. “We are talking to the Chinese via military and diplomatic channels,” he stated. — PTI
