Delhi Police rescue 84-year-old girl from mattress field after she unintentionally locks herself in


New Delhi, July 17

An 84-year-old girl was rescued on Thursday after she unintentionally locked herself in a mattress field at her dwelling in Karol Bagh right here, police mentioned.

 A police crew reached the girl’s home in Dev Nagar space after receiving a name from her granddaughter Nancy and broke open the iron door of her flat with a hammer, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Central) Sanjay Bhatia mentioned.

The girl, Sworsh Kohli, was discovered locked contained in the mattress field, the DCP mentioned.

Nancy, who lives in south Delhi’s Alaknanda, was monitoring CCTV digicam footage of her grandmother’s dwelling in her moblie telephone when she observed that Kohli fell contained in the mattress field whereas making an attempt to open it.

She couldn’t come out of the field on account of her age and weak spot. The girl is steady now and doing tremendous, the DCP mentioned. PTI
