Delhi: Journalist recovering from COVID-19 jumps to demise at AIIMS

A well being journalist recovering from COVID-19 on Monday jumped to his demise from the fourth flooring at AIIMS New Delhi, inflicting an enormous furore in media circles.

Tarun Sisodiya, 37, was admitted to AIIMS for COVID signs on June 24.

In a press release issued on Monday, AIIMS New Delhi’s media in-charge Aarti Vij stated Sisodiya was recovering from COVID-19. He was not on oxygen help, and was going to be moved from the ICU to normal ward on Monday.

Hospital’s makes an attempt to resuscitate the sufferer failed resulting in his demise.

His Whatsapp chat flooded the social media handles after his demise, with many journalists looking for an FIR. Several journalists even took to Twitter demanding an intensive enquiry into the incident.
