COVID-19 affected person’s brother attacked with wood rod for questioning hospital invoice


Pune, September 22

A laboratory technician of a non-public hospital right here in Maharashtra has been booked for allegedly assaulting a COVID-19 affected person’s brother with a wood rod after the latter questioned invoice quantity, a police officer stated on Tuesday.

The alleged incident occurred in Saswad space on Sunday when the sufferer raised some queries with the billing division of the hospital, he stated.

A case has been registered underneath varied sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), he stated, including that no arrest has been made to this point. PTI
