Cops to make Delhi riots accused photographs public

New Delhi, November 27

The Delhi Police have planned to make public the pictures of around 20 persons involved in the northeast Delhi riots. They said their photographs would be put up at public places across the Capital.

As per the plan, a reward will be given to anyone who provides information about the accused in connection with the riots which took place in February this year, sources in the Delhi Police said. Communal violence broke out in northeast Delhi on February 24 following clashes between citizenship law supporters and protesters, leaving at least 53 persons dead and around 200 injured. — TNS
