Jaipur, August 1
Rajasthan BJP president Satish Poonia on Saturday attacked Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, saying he doesn’t belief his MLAs and lacked the numbers to show majority within the meeting.
“The government is in a five-star hotel in Jaisalmer. He has no trust in his ministers and MLAs. Therefore, they are holed up in the hotel amid tight security,” Poonia stated.
This state of affairs wouldn’t have arisen if Gehlot had the numbers, Poonia informed reporters on the get together workplace right here.
The BJP chief stated it was the infighting throughout the Congress which was responsible for the state of affairs, somewhat than his get together.
Taking a dig on the state authorities, Poonia stated although the regulation and order state of affairs is deteriorating, its legislators have been having fun with the keep at a five-star lodge.
The MLAs loyal to Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot had remained confined to Fairmont lodge in Jaipur since July 13 earlier than being flown to Jaisalmer amid an influence tussle between the Chief Minister and his former deputy Sachin Pilot.
They are anticipated to remain in Jaisalmer until the start of the meeting session from August 14.
The Congress has accused the BJP of enjoying a significant position within the rise up by Sachin Pilot and 18 different get together MLAs.
It has accused the saffron get together of indulging in horse-trading to topple the state authorities. PTI
