New Delhi, December 18
The Centre on Friday told the Supreme Court that it was discussing with the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) the issue of granting another chance to civil services aspirants, especially those who exhausted their last attempt in October 2020 Prelims during the Covid-19 pandemic.
“It’s under active consideration of the Centre and the UPSC. We are not taking an adversarial stand,” Solicitor General Tushar Mehta told the court during hearing on a petition seeking an extra attempt in the civil services examinations conducted by the UPSC. — TNS
