The Delhi High Court Friday dismissed a plea by Mehul Choksi, an accused within the practically $2 billion PNB rip-off, to conduct pre-screening of Netflix documentary, ‘Bad Boy Billionaires’.
Justice Navin Chawla declined to grant reduction to Choksi saying a writ petition for enforcement of a non-public proper can’t be maintainable. The courtroom, nonetheless, granted him the freedom to boost the problem in a civil swimsuit. Choksi and his nephew Nirav Modi are accused within the Rs 13,500 crore Punjab National Bank fraud case. — PTI
