BSF orders ‘Independence Day walk’ at border posts on August 15

The Border Security Force (BSF) has directed organising an ‘Independence Day walk’ in any respect its borders posts and subject models alongside the Pakistan and Bangladesh fronts on August 15, officers stated on Sunday.

The headquarters of the about 2.5 lakh personnel robust drive has requested all its formation commanders to make sure that a senior officer spends two nights—August 14 and 15 — at every border publish alongside the Pakistan and Bangladesh entrance together with different workplaces and coaching centres of the paramilitary.

This is part of the 74th Independence Day celebrations.

The officers stated an order has been issued by the headquarters of the drive right here on August 6 on the instructions of BSF chief S S Deswal, who has launched a slew of health programmes within the drive.

Deswal is heading the BSF in a further capability for over 4 months now and he’s the common Director-General (DG) of the ITBP that guards the three,488-km Line of Actual Control (LAC) with China.

He has initiated these actions within the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) too, they stated.
